COMPASS… for Lifelong Discovery is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to creating and supporting progressive, experiential learning environments.
Mission
Our mission is to foster lifelong learning and to empower individuals to take responsibility for themselves, their learning and their community.
Schools
COMPASS operates three schools in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley, each integrating proven educational practices with experience-based learning techniques that span multiple disciplines and ages:
· Aspen Community School - a public K-8 charter school in Woody Creek, Colorado
· Carbondale Community School - a public K-8 charter school in Carbondale, Colorado
· Early Childhood Center - a private preschool in Woody Creek, Colorado
